The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) does not expect any price increases on candles, saying the suggested retail prices (SRP) as of August prevail.
There are 33 stock keeping units of candles monitored by the DTI with prices ranging from P29.75 to P177.71 depending on brands, size and number per pack.
The DTI, however, said flowers are not covered by SRP bulletin as they are not consider basic nor prime commodities.
The advisory was issued by the DTI in line with the upcoming celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on November 1 and 2, respectively.
