PRESIDENT Marcos Jr. has approved a 25-year franchise for Negros Electric and Power Corp. (NEPC) which allows it to manage and operate the electricity distribution system in Negros province.
The President, on July 26, signed Republic Act 12011 which provides enhance power distribution and customer service in the cities of Bacolod, Bago, Talisay, Silay, and municipalities of Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto all in Negros.
A copy of the signed law was published yesterday in a national daily.
