The Negros Trade Fair, the country’s longest-running provincial trade fair in Metro Manila, which has been instrumental in the success of many Negrense micro, small, and medium enterprises, in the past four decades, has opened in its new “home.”

It has moved to a new site, the SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City, for its 39th edition from September 23 to 28, 2025

Themed “Himbon,” a Hiligaynon term which means “to gather,” the Negros Trade Fair in 2025, features 139 exhibitors offering “the best of Negros in food, fashion, crafts, and more.”

“We are honored to champion the artisans and entrepreneurs behind the Negros Trade Fair. We hope you join us in experiencing the very best of Negros,” SM Supermalls president Steven Tan said in a video invitation on September 22.

Tan said that for decades, the Negros Trade Fair “has proudly celebrated Negrense heritage, creativity, and entrepreneurship.”

“This year, we carry the tradition forward by providing MSMEs a bigger marketplace to reach more people and explore new markets,” he added.

Association of Negros Producers (ANP) president Christina Gaston said the Negros Trade Fair has been a long-running project of the ANP in partnership with the Negros Occidental provincial government, which has extended financial support of P5 million in recognition of the trade fair’s long-term impact on the Negrenses, over the years.  (PNA)
