The municipality of Nasugbu in Batangas has served a notice to Roxas and Company Inc. (RCI) for the revocation of its business permit over unpaid real property taxes.
“This serves as a formal notice to your company of the possible revocation of your business permit by this office should you continue to fail to settle your RPT which have become due and demandable,” said Mayor Antonio Barcelon in the notice posted on the Nasugbu local government unit (LGU) social media account.
The notice was served last Monday.

The LGU also said Barcelon also sent a letter to the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) seeking assistance to resolve the issues concerning the unpaid taxes and longstanding land dispute covering 8 barangays.
