Medilines Distributors Inc. has closed delivery contracts worth P1 billion covering cancer therapy equipment for the year.
The company expressed confidence it will close 2022 with a record performance.
“Medilines is set to deliver these machines to Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital in Legazpi City, Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro City, and the Philippine Children’s Medical Center in Quezon City as soon as the respective sites within the hospitals are ready starting Q2 this year,” it said.
Medilines said it is also set to complete its cancer projects in Cebu and Davao this year, as well as its cancer project in the Philippine General Hospital as soon as it finishes the bunker setting for the machine.
“The delivery and installation contracts of these machines already account for half of our 2022 full year revenue target putting us on track to hit another record year in sales,” said Virgilio Villar, Medilines chairman.
Medilines said the cancer therapy machines include the linear accelerator, a new technology that can deliver treatment dose with pinpoint accuracy and precision.
Medilines distributes linear accelerators from Varian, a US company, as well as B. Braun dialysis machines and Siemens Healthineers diagnostic imaging equipment like CT scans and MRI machines.
