Mariana Zobel de Ayala, eldest daughter of Ayala Corp. chairman Jaime August Zobel de Ayala, is joining the Ayala Land board of directors to serve the remaining term of his uncle, Fernando.
The realtor in a regulatory filing said it has accepted the resignation of Fernando from the Ayala Land board and will be replaced by Mariana.
Fernando resigned from the company’s board where he sits as chairman in September citing health reasons.
Fernando’s role as chairman will be assumed by Jaime Augusto.
