Manila Water Co. Inc. has secured a P10-billion 10-year term loan facility with the Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange yesterday, the company said the amount will be used to partially finance its capital expenditure projects .
Last June, Manila Water through its subsidiary, Manila Water Philippine Ventures Inc., signed a P1.53 billion ten-year term loan facility with the Bank of the Philippine Islands for the use of Clark Water Corp.
Other loans secured by Manila Water and its subsidiaries this year include the P200 million ten-year term loan facility also with BPI for Bulakan Water Co. Inc. as well as another P3 billion ten-year term loan facility with the Land Bank of the Philippines. -Jed Macapagal
