Aboitiz Construction has started land development in the 72.2-hectare expansion of LIMA Estate in Batangas of sister company Aboitiz InfraCapital.
Once completed, the expansion will help accommodate new businesses in the area and generate thousands of job opportunities for local communities, the company said in a statement.
Aboitiz Construction said the groundworks that involve earthworks, site development, road network, perimeter fence, drainage, waterline, and sewer line works will be completed by 2025.
The company said it is employing 219 skilled workers and is utilizing advanced technology called Trimble, a cutting-edge GPS-based solution.
Aboitiz Construction is also handling one of the biggest projects in LIMA Estate, the industrial expansion of the 57-hectare lot at Block 9-2.
