Lamoiyan Corp. is looking for investors in its bid to expand to Southeast Asia.
“We are looking for ways to go international. We are expanding not just here in the Philippines,” said Cecilio Pedro, president and chief executive officer of Lamoiyan Corp.
Pedro added the company has started exploring tie-ups with possible partners which will help the company export its products and penetrate the mainstream market in the region.
He declined to identify the parties and their nationalities except to say “they visited us, we visited them.”
Lamoiyan is currently exporting to markets with overseas Filipinos but Pedro said the volume is too small.
Lamoiyan plans to bring its flagship product Hapee Toothpaste which made it become the first Filipino company to penetrate the local toothpaste industry dominated by multinational brands.
