Japan-based vehicle maker Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) is beefing up its product line and targeting a 10 percent increase in sales this year after a near-flat performance in 2024.

In an interview on Monday, Robert Carlos, IPC assistant division head for sales, said the company over the weekend wrapped up its 2025 Isuzu Truck Fest with 19 Isuzu trucks and light-commercial vehicles on display.

IPC said in a statement on Monday it officially introduced at the Truck Fest the new Isuzu S&E Series heavy-duty trucks offering multiple body applications and advanced features.

IPC said that in January, its sales improved 16 percent to 1,355 units from 1,165 units in the same month in 2024.

Citing data from the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA), IPC said it sold 17,641 units in 2024, 0.2 percent or slighly higher than the 17,607 units in 2023.

IPC claims to be the sixth largest brand in the country with 3.78 percent market share.

TMA data showed that IPC sales of trucks under Category 3 or light duty trucks (N-series) Category 4 or medium-duty (F- series) and Category 5 or heavy-duty trucks (C & E series) reached a combined total of 4,591 units, or a market share of 41 percent in this category.

IPC said Traviz remains its best-selling vehicle on a full-year basis.

Traviz alone accounted for 42 percent of sales at 7,388 units, Carlos said, but declined to give comparative figures.

Traviz’ available body applications include the utility van, mobile kitchen and its new Traviz Concept Van.

IPC also showcased fleet-ready vehicles such as the Isuzu D-MAX Single Cab 4×4 with Eco-bus and Ambulance bodies, the D-MAX 4×2 LS-A, and the Isuzu mu-X 4×2 LS-A, ideal for corporate and logistics use.
