MANULIFE Philippines and Manulife China Bank Life (MCBL) said they are giving a special rate of 20 percent off the first-year premium for select life insurance products, to make coverage more accessible to Filipinos, especially during these trying times.
The insurance firm said customers who avail Manulife’s Seasons 100, Freedom 65 Plus, and Freedom 20 Plus, as well as MCBL’s Assure Max, from April 20 to April 30, 2020 are qualified to receive 20 percent off their first-year premium on both their base insurance plan, as well as any riders that are attachable.
In a separate statement, the Philam Group, through its corporate social responsibility affiliate, Philam Foundation, said it will be providing free compassionate benefit coverage worth P50,000 to 30,000 medical frontliners, initially with its partner hospitals.
The program, called Philam Foundation Frontliners Inclusive Risk Safety neT (FIRST) Initiative, will provide coverage that translates to a total sum assured of P1.5 billion.
