ITALPINAS Development Corp. (IDC) has partnered with Thailand’s Dusit International for the management of its hotels in Bukidnon and in Cagayan de Oro.
IDC’s unit IDC Prime signed the agreement with Dusit Thani Public Company Ltd. and Dusit Thani Philippines Inc. allowing Dusit to operate hotels in two of IDC’s upcoming developments.
One of the two planned hotels, Dusit Princess Moena, will be located within IDC’s Moena Mountain Estate in the uplands of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
Slated to open by the last quarter of 2029, this proposed 1.5-hectare mixed-use development will consist of an eight-storey green building as well as a grouping of luxury villas, configured to maximize fresh air and sweeping views at its hilltop site in Barangay Dahilayan.
The second hotel, Dusit Princess Firenze, also scheduled to open by the last quarter of 2029, is located within IDC’s Firenze Green Tower project in the Limketkai area of Cagayan de Oro.
This proposed 14-storey mixed-use green building will consist of commercial, residential, and hotel areas, as well as first class amenities and parking, IDC said.
Both Firenze Green Tower and Moena Mountain Estate are pre-existing joint ventures between IDC — as the property developer — and the Go family as the original owners of the two sites. IDC said the addition of a hotel component to each project with the recent signing of the engagements with Dusit is expected to add a new dimension to each site.
