Globe Telecom registered an 11 percent decline in core net income to P10.4 billion in the first half of 2025, from P11.7 billion in the same period in 2024.
Its net income of P12.4 billion, showed a14 percent decrease from P14.5 billion. This included a P2.6 billion gross gain booked last quarter from the disposal of shares, following MUFG’s acquisition of an 8 percent stake in Mynt, a subisdiary.
Globe’s cash capital expenditures stood at P18.9 billion, 33 percent less than the P28.3 billion in the same period of 2024.
By the end of June 2025, Globe’s mobile subscriber base stood at 62.5 million, 5 percent higher than the 59.5 million in the same period of 2024.
