An online game creator Creta is making its cryptocurrency, Creta World coin, available in the local crypto exchange platform coins.ph.
Creta’s cryptocurrency serves as a utility token in its gaming platform where users can use the coin in exchange for goods and services, said Ray Eiichiro Nakazato, Creta chief creative officer.
Creta is a metaverse game platform company headquartered in Dubai that provides its users with multiplayer online games while also giving these players the opportunity to create their own.
Users can then monetize the games they create when these games are used by other community members.
“Creta token is a utility token. So all the services we provide within Creta platform… use Creta token. We will change the Creta token into Creta game points which (can be used) to purchase stuff,” Nakazato said.
“We are launching our services in the Philippines first. So the initial community (of) gamers are Filipino gamers. So we thought that it’s necessary to be listed on a major exchange in the Philippines,” he added.
