GAC Motor Philippines yesterday said it is moving closer to achieving its sales target of 2,000 units for the year after it recorded its best-ever October performance of 268 units, 523 percent higher year-on-year.
Now under Astara, GAC Motor recorded year-to-date sales rise of 1,488 units, a 305 percent increase over last year.
The continued sales growth of GAC Motor can be attributed to the increasing demand notably of its all-new GS3 EMZOOM and the 7-seater GS8 SUV.
The GS3 EMZOOM’s year-to-date sales totalled 423 units since only launching four months ago. GS8 SUV delivered year-to-date sales of 378 units.
GAC Motor said in October, the EMKOO recorded a total of 124 units sold, while the EMPOW followed closely with 118 units sold.
“Our continuous success in retail sales has propelled GAC Motor to unparalleled heights, affirming the growing number of Filipinos who appreciate and recognize the unmatched value that our vehicles offer,” said Franz Decloedt, brand head of GAC Motor.
“We move closer to our target of breaking 2,000 units by yearend, and this achievement bolsters our commitment and confidence in providing our customers with the utmost experience, encompassing exceptional vehicles, top-notch after-sales service, and enhanced accessibility through an expanded network of dealers,” Decloedt added.
GAC Motor said it is on track with its plans to expand its dealer network to 20 locations by yearend. It recently celebrated the formal inauguration of GAC Cainta last October 11.
