Funeral service app Onora has been launched recently in the country, offering over 2,000 services that can be availed even by Filipinos abroad.
These services include burial, cremation, catering, flowers, obituaries and photographers, among others.
“Aside from the obvious practical advantages Onora’s tech provides by making planning easier, lifting the mental load allows mourners time to grieve, reflect and respect their loved one,” said Benjamin Dychangco, Onora Ph founder.
Over 500 funeral home services nationwide are available through the app.
Onora’s vast network includes funeral homes, florists, caterers and other related services.
The app allows users to browse a network of pre-authenticated service providers, collaborate with family, schedule and book, giving users the access and flexibility to search, book and pay for the funeral service using a smartphone.
At present, Onora is available for Android devices or via the Google Play Store and soon in the Apple App Store.
