Okada Manila said business is improving as it experienced an 8 percent month-on -month growth in foot traffic, though still 74 percent of its pre-pandemic level.
“With the economy and borders opening up, Okada Manila is expected to sustain the momentum,” the management said in a statement.
As of May, 33 permanent tenants have been operational with 11 more expected to open by August , it added.
Business remains encouraging with gross gaming revenues 44 percent ahead of target, while also up 4 percent of June 2019 figures. Hotel and room revenues meanwhile are up 6 percent and 8 percent respectively compared to the same period in June.
Food and beverage revenues are up 14.5 percent and gaming daily visits at 81 percent of 2019 levels.
The company however declined to provide comparative figures.
