First Gen Corp. has renewed a renewable energy (RE) power supply deal with industrial printing firm Precision Crestec Inc.
The company said in a statement Tuesday the agreement signed late last month is for the supply of 700 kilowatts of electricity from an RE source to power the printing company’s production facility in Pasig City.
First Gen said its partnership with Precision Crestec began in 2021 as part of the latter’s program to meet the increasing demand of its customers for more sustainable supply chains and products.
The parties did not disclose the amount involved in this new partnership.
Purificacion Dizon, Precision Crestec president, said her company is a high-quality packaging solutions provider serving industries such as food and beverage, electronics, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce and retail for local and Philippine-based export companies.
“With an innovative approach, we deliver durable, cost-effective and eco-friendly packaging designed to enhance product safety and brand visibility while maintaining the lowest possible carbon footprint,” Dizon said.
Aside from supplying power, First Gen’s sister company Pi Energy Inc. also provides Precision Crestec with energy efficiency solutions designed for efficient use of electricity, including remote energy monitoring system for analyzing and checking of real-time power consumption.
