FILINVEST REIT Corp. (FILRT), the real estate investment trust of the Gotianun Group, yesterday said it has sealed 22,811 square meters (sq.m.) worth of new leases for its leasable space as of the first nine months of 2024, up 13.3 percent compared to the full-year 2023 of 20,139 sq.m.
“This is largely driven by the new lease accounts and expansions of multinational companies within Northgate Cyberzone,” the company told regulators.
FILRT said New York-based data and artificial intelligence firm and NASDAQ-listed EXLService Holdings Inc., expanded its lease with an additional 1,750 sq.m.
It added New Zealand-based engineering and architectural solutions firm, Building Engineering and Design Co., has expanded its offices in Filinvest Two by securing an additional 1,724 sq.m. on another floor.
According to FILRT, one of its longest tenant-partners, Genpact Services LLC (Philippine Branch), a global professional services firm, also leased additional space in the iHub 1 Building.
It said this is Genpact’s sixth expansion with FILRT. Genpact has a growing presence in Northgate Cyberzone in Alabang, Muntinlupa —with over 24,400 sq.m. of leased space across Plaza A, Vector Two, and 5132 Buildings.
FILRT said it also welcomed Gear Inc., a global business process outsourcing company has opened its first permanent office in the Philippines, a 1,993.10 sq.m. premium office space in FILRT’s Filinvest One Building also within Northgate Cyberzone.
