Federal Land Inc. is ramping up development in its 600-hectare Riverpark estate in Gen. Trias, Cavite
Following the launch of its first offering, Yume at Riverpark, in November last year, the Ty-led developer unveiled Saturday one of the amenities for potential residents and visitors in the property – a 1.8- kilometer bike trail.
Stephen Comia, Federal Land project develop group head, said the company is looking to have significant development in the property in the next 10 to 15 years.
Comia said details of the masterplan are being finalized.
Federal Land consolidated the property covering what is now Riverparkk in 2020, the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is divided into two parcels, dubbed Riverpark North and Riverpark South.
Federal Land’s first offering was the 18-hectare Yume at Riverpark joint-venture with Japan’s Nomura Real Estate Development Co. Ltd, under Federal NRE Global Inc.
Yume at Riverpark is a Japanese-inspired 18-hectare horizontal residential development offering 296 lots with lot sizes ranging from 300 to 527 sqm. It is eyed for turnover by May 2026.
The bike trail, Riverpark Trails, is part of a larger network of open spaces in Riverpark, Federal Land said.
Riverpark is dedicating 70 hectares to parks and greenways.
“A Central Park serves as a green highway that seamlessly connects the north and south end of the development, as well as provide residents with plenty of space to unwind, congregate, and cultivate lasting connections. The park is planned to feature various trekking and jogging paths, lush Japanese gardens, and a bamboo forest reminiscent of the famed Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto, Japan,” the company said in a statement.
Comia said apart from Yume, and Riverpark Trails, Federal Land is also looking to launch another subdivision project, and a mid-rise condominium in the property.
Federal Land has also invited the SM Group of Companies to put up its SM City Gen. Trias mall in the property, anchoring Riverpark’s commercial area.
Comia said Federal Land is allocating around 20-hectares for the commercial area.
