FDC names new president

Filinvest Development Corp. (FDC) has appointed Rhoda Huang as its new president and chief executive officer, vice Josephine Gotianun Yap.

Huang will assume the post by August 1, while Yap will assume as vice chairman of FDC’s Board of Directors.

“Huang brings invaluable expertise to the company’s executive team with her experience as an investment banker and proven track record of successful mergers and acquisitions,” the company said.

Huang’s appointment is part of FDC’s succession planning in the group, FDC said.

Prior to her appointment, Huang was president of BPI Capital Corp. and branch head of investment banking for Credit Suisse Philippines.

She worked for 19 years at JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor institutions.

FDC also appointed Brian Lim as chief finance officer (CFO).

Lim has over 14 years of experience in the financial field and was CFO at one of the largest construction companies in the Philippines.
