RECENTLY opened Solaire Resort North in Quezon City is receiving encouraging reception from the public, particularly for its food and beverage offeringw.

Joy Wassmer, Solaire communications and public relations director, said the new integrated gaming complex is seeing high foot traffic in its restaurants offering buffets and fine dining as well as its food court a litter over a month after it opened.

“We hope to see more people in the gaming floor, for now it’s mostly F&B. We take it day to day to see how the market will adapt to what we have. All the restaurants are doing very well. They’re fully operational,” Wassmer said.

Standing on 1.5 hectares, Solaire Resort North towers at 38 storeys.

The resort has 526 keys consisting of deluxe guest rooms ranging from 42 to 49 square meters (sq.m.), while suites are between 89 to 382 sq.m.

Apart from its accommodations, Solaire Resort North boasts an outdoor L-shaped swimming pool with cabañas and an extensive wellness center that offers an array of treatment options in the spa.

One key highlight of the property is its upscale events venues which can fit approximately 1,300 guests with concert-style seating and can be partitioned to become three equally impressive halls, said Bloomberry Resorts Corp. which operates Solaire.

There are also intimate spaces available for more exclusive and personal gatherings, Bloomberry said. All function rooms can accommodate any banquet requirements and are fitted with technologically advanced audio and visual equipment.

Wassmer said Solaire North aims to cater to residents of Quezon City as well as areas in the north of Metro Manila – Caloocan, Manila, Bulacan and all the way to Pampanga and Bagiuo.

“Hopefully this is your first stop if you are coming from the north. Going to Manila, this is your first stop. There’s no other five-star hotel in Quezon City, we’re the first,” she said.
