This year’s work will cover 79,063-square meters (sq.m.) of the NLEX and 18,718 sq.m. of the SCTEX.

Some stretches of pavement from Balintawak, Quezon City to Sta. Ines and Tarlac to Tipo, Zambales will be replaced in sections and overlaid with new layers of asphalt, while less damaged parts will undergo patching.

The road maintenance is set to be completed within the second quarter of the year.

It will be undertaken with traffic and lane management measures in place to ensure minimal lane closures and reduce travel delays. Also, road signs and other warning devices will be installed to guide motorists passing the repair sites.
