The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) said it is prioritizing the strengthening labor-management relations not just at the workplace but also on a national scale.
ECOP said this is best time to look into creating an enabling environment for employers and workers to work on.
“With recovery still being a priority today… the goal is to tread the road to recovery while striking a balance between the demands of workers to be protected and the need of employers to grow and expand their businesses,” ECOP said in a statement announcing the 44th National Conference of Employers (NCE) to be held in Manila June 27 to 28.
Themed “Human-Centered Transitions for a Just and Sustainable Workplace,” NCE will tackle strategies for creating unique employee experiences and the critical role that employers should play in making this a reality.
“Everything at this point ought to be looked at from the point of view and approach of employers, who value human relations, rather than as business owners running an enterprise for the sake of profit,” ECOP said.
