The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has issued show cause order against Dali Everyday Grocery on complaints over alleged sanitary and deceptive sales practices.
DTI Assistant Secretary Amanda Nograles in an interview over dzmm yesterday said the show cause order was sent to Dali on May 29, 2024, covering 13 instances of complaints cited by Malayang Konsyumer in a letter to the agency.
This gives Dali a chance to respond to the complaints.
Nograles said the alleged complaints were traced in several branches including those in Marikina, Rizal and Paranaque.
She said out of the 353 branches of Dali, only 82 are covered by the DTI since these stores carry basic and prime commodities.
