The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has reported on the completion of all upgrade works on the EDSA-Guadalupe Cloverleaf Road in Makati City.
In a social media post, the DPWH-National Capital Region (NCR) said it has completed the project, which aimed to alleviate persistent traffic congestion in one of the country’s most traveled areas.
It said the project, substantially completed in June, has always been considered a key interchange linking the cities of Mandaluyong and Makati.
The DPWH said the undertaking involved the installation of a high-quality asphalt overlay and the refinement of lane markings to ensure long-term durability and structural integrity.
The elimination of common road hazards, such as potholes and surface cracks, has enhanced the driving comfort of the commuters, contributing to a smoother and safer journey.
The project was under the “Build Better More” program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the DPWH said.
It was supervised by Secretary Manuel Bonoan with the DPWH-NCR’s 2nd District Engineering Office. (PNA)
