DMCI Holdings Inc. on Wednesday reported an 18 percent decline in net income to P9.1 billion in the first semester of the year,from P11.1 billion last year.
Its revenue grew 10.95 percent, at P61.6 billion from P55.52 billion last year. However, the gains were eroded by coal mining operation whose revenue fell 23 percent to P18.35 billion from P23.88 billion last year.
DMCI Power Corp.’s electricity sales amounted to P16.97 billion, up 2.41 percent from P16.57 billion.
DMCI Project Developers added 21.78 percent to real estate earnings at P7.94 billion, from P6.52 billion
DM Consunji Inc. contributed P8.34 billion, an increase of 13.62 percent from P7.34 billion.
DMCI Mining Corp. posted a rocketing growth rate equivalent to 151.46 percent at P2.59 billion from P1.03 billion.
