DITO Telecommunity Corp. yesterday said its mobile subscribers have reached seven million.
DITO also rolled out next-gen features, DITO Auto Pay and DITO Advance Pay.
Evelyn Jimenez, DITO chief commercial officer, said DITO Advance Pay allows subscribers to receive and pay for their promo package three, six or 12 months in advance, giving them full control of their promo spending and usage for several months.
This could translate to as much as 40 percent or P4,795 savings from their total package cost, the telco said. Subscribers can get as much as 1,560 gigabytes (GB) of data for only P4.61 per GB, one of the lowest data rates in the market today.
DITO Auto Pay allows subscribers to automatically renew and pay for their chosen package every month without worry, the telco said. Customers can get as much as 10GB of bonus data every month when they avail of DITO Auto Pay.
At present, DITO has more than 4,100 towers and is available in over 500 cities and municipalities in the country, with more than 83,000 sales touchpoints nationwide. – Myla Iglesias
