Discovery World Corp. will be operating the Samal Island hotel of Samal Shores Inc. in Davao del Norte.
The company said it signed the agreement with Samal Shores, a subsidiary of CSG Holdings Corp., through unit Discovery Hospitality Corp..
The hotel will be named Discovery Samal.
Situated on a land with an approximate area of five hectares on the coasts of Samal Island, Discovery Samal is set to open in 2022. Discovery Samal is 30 minutes away from the Francisco Bangoy International Airport, Davao City.
The inclusion of Discovery Samal in Discovery Hospitality’s portfolio brings its managed hotels to 690 rooms, from villas to suites, and a total conference capacity of 2,018 for corporate engagements, across the country.
Currently, Discovery Hospitality manages hotels and resorts like Discovery Primea, Discovery Suites, Discovery Shores Boracay, and Club Paradise Palawan. – Ruelle Castro
