DigiPlus Interactive Corp. said it will be putting up a Singapore unit, DigiPlus Global Pte. Ltd., to serve as a support function center and regional hub dedicated to strategic partnerships, talent acquisition and international growth — key pillars of DigiPlus’ long-term growth strategy.
DigiPlus Global will be directly under another DigiPlus unit, Diginvest Holdings Inc., incorporated last year.
The incorporation of DigiPlus Global follows the inclusion of the online gaming firm in the broader FTSE index — FTSE All-Cap Index and FTSE Total-Cap Index — starting March 22.
“Singapore is a world-class hub for business, technology, and talent, making it an ideal base for our global initiatives,” said Eusebio Tanco, DigiPlus chairman.
“With the incorporation of DigiPlus Global, we are strengthening our ability to attract top-tier professionals, forge strategic alliances, and enhance our international presence, all while remaining deeply committed to our home market in the Philippines,” he added.
DigiPlus said the incorporation of DigiPlus Global “marks a bold step in DigiPlus Interactive’s expansion, leveraging Singapore’s advanced business infrastructure and global connectivity to further position the company as a leader in digital entertainment.”
