Gaming firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp. said it netted P2.11 billion for the first nine months of the year, surging by 1,068.65 percent from last year’s P180.55 million.
“This was driven by the robust performance of its digital retail gaming segment, the launch of new game offerings combined with cost efficiencies achieved as the business continues to gain scale,” the company said.
Revenues hit P15.98 billion, up 1.9 percent from P5.5 billion last year, on higher user traffic in its flagship livestreaming bingo game under BingoPlus and digital sports betting under ArenaPlus.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization was at P2.5 billion, up 390 percent.
“The sustained growth momentum in our BingoPlus and ArenaPlus platforms combined with the promising prospects for our new game offerings put us in a strong position to capture the opportunities around digital entertainment,” said Andy Tsui, DigiPlus president.
