Taguig LGU partners with HealthwayCancer Care Hospital
On May 20, Taguig City government led by Mayor Lani Cayetano signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with HCCH to provide medical services to residents deemed qualified by the local government unit’s City Health Office (CHO).
Established by Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health) and the Healthway Medical Network, HCCH is the country’s first dedicated cancer care facility. Its vision is to provide accessible and quality cancer services to more Filipinos.
Present during the MOA signing at HCCH in Arca South, Taguig City were Paolo Borromeo, AC Health President and CEO; Jenara Ong, HCCH COO; Ruby Chiong, AC Health and HCCH CFO; Dr. Ramy Roxas, HCCH medical director; Dr. Gary Lorenzo, chairman of the HCCH Medical Advisory Board, and other leaders of HCCH and AC Health.
CLFC funds 21 agri workers to South Korea

IPOPHL earns Gold Trailblazer Award
The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) has recently boosted the country’s capacity to seize this potential by completing the governance pathway in a revalida with the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA) on May 30, earning recognition as an Island of Good Governance.
IPOPHL bagged the Gold Trailblazer Award and was conferred the Institutionalized Status under ISA’s good governance framework, Performance Governance System (PGS).
The public revalida is a democratic exercise that validates the public institutions’ completion of the four stages of the PGS. Enrolled institutions include the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Department of Health (DOH), among others.
By leveraging the PGS to drive innovation for greater impact, IPOPHL has emerged as a frontrunner in IP management and now aims to position the Philippines in the Top 3 in Aseanfor IP-related sub-indicators of the Knowledge and Creative Output Pillars of the GII by 2024.
PSEC hosts promotes sustainable solar colutions
PHINMA Solar Energy Corp. (PSEC) held its 2nd Eco-swing Golf Cup at the renowned Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City on May 30.

Isuzu to launch 2024 Isuzu D-MAX
Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) will launch the new 2024 Isuzu D-MAX on June 20 at 6 p.m. at the Central Atrium of SM Mall Of Asia, Pasay City.
This event will be followed by a three-day display and test drive at Block 20 of the SM MOA Complex.

Cash-in to Maya wallets for free
Visa cardholders are now able to cash-in their Maya wallets for free, as announced by Visa, a world leader in digital payments.
As part of the “Cash-In for Free” program, which became effective May 1, this offer is available to all Maya users who have a mobile number from any local telco provider and are currently residing in the Philippines. The initiative aims to expand consumer choice by allowing Visa cardholders to use their cards to fund their Maya wallets fee-free, to be used in Maya-accepting wallets.
To qualify, eligible users must cash into their Maya Wallet using their Philippine-issued Visa credit, debit or prepaid cards via the Maya app. Free Visa transfers are available for transactions up to P5,000. The typical P200 surcharge for cashing into Maya using cards will be rebated back to users. For larger transactions above P5,000, a discounted fee of 50 percent off or P100 per transaction will be imposed.
