Fiber internet service provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has delivered the fastest internet services in the country in 2024, according to Ookla, a global leader in mobile and broadband network intelligence, testing applications, and related technologies.
In a statement on Tuesday, March 11, Converge said it has secured for the third consecutive time the Ookla Speedtest Award for the fastest fixed network in the Philippines for the second half of 2024, cementing its position as the fastest network provider for the entire year.
“We’ve gone from a change of guard to setting new standards, proving that excellence isn’t just about winning once—it’s about consistently delivering for our customers,” said Jesus Romero, Converge chief operating officer.
The Speedtest Awards are presented semi-annually by Ookla, assessing the real-world experiences of users based on millions of consumer-initiated tests.
With a speed score of 144.81, nearly a 25 percent gap from trailing competitors, Converge said it was recognized as the Fastest Fixed Network, delivering download speeds of up to 561.51 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 509.08 Mbps.
Converge said Ookla also recognized the company with the Best Internet Service Provider (ISP) Video Experience award with a Video Score of 78.17
In gaming and overall connectivity, Converge scored 83.06 and secured the title of Best ISP gaming experience.
Its overall connectivity score of 76.13 solidified its position as the best-fixed network, showcasing unmatched reliability and consistency.
