Private and civic organizations have responded to calls for help to Filipinos severely affected Severe Tropical Storm Kristine that hit the country last week.
Globe delivers #AlagangGlobe
Globe has mobilized its teams to provide urgent relief for communities affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine, which caused serious flooding across Luzon and Visayas earlier this week.
In the immediate aftermath of the storm, Globe provided Globe Prepaid and TM users free unli calls and texts to all networks, plus 100MB of data for all apps and sites and another 100MB for social media apps, valid for one day.
Eligible Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi users, meanwhile, were provided free 5GB of data valid for three days, while GFiber Prepaid customers were given three days of promo extension. Globe also extended due dates for users of Globe Postpaid and GFiber Postpaid customers.
For those who need immediate medical advice, KonsultaMD, Globe’s telehealth platform, is providing free consultation on its platform using the code ALAGANGLOBE. The code is for one-time use, valid for a month.
Globe and territory distributor Onon Marketing, partnered to deliver 300 5-liter water containers to affected families in Tuguegarao City that are currently in evacuation centers.
Globe calls on its customers to support relief efforts by donating their Rewards points via the GlobeOne app. They may also send help via GCash which will funnel collected funds to the Ayala Foundation.
Cashback assistance
In response to the devastation caused by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine, e-commerce platform Enstack will provide cashback assistance to its merchants in the Bicol Region to help them recover and rebuild their businesses.
The special cashback program is available for orders made in the Enstack app of business owners based in the provinces of Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, and Catanduanes from October 24 to November 30. The pickup address on the app must be set in these provinces.
The orders that will qualify are those made using Enstack selling tools (Web Store, Cashier, and Keypad) and utilizing either Enstack-integrated payment options (Cash on Delivery, E-wallets, direct debit options, credit card, etc.) or Enstack-integrated shipping options (Enstack Standard or Enstack Same Day Shipping).
Sellers can receive 3 percent cashback on the net price of items they sold from October 24 to November 30.
Orders delivered or in transit by December 10 will qualify for cashback.
The cashback will be credited to sellers’ Enstack wallets on December 16 to 17.
Honda lends hand to unit owners
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) supports its owners whose units that have been inundated from October 21 onwards.
Honda is providing a 30 percent discount on select spare parts to help make the cost of getting back on the road easier.
This offer is available at all Honda Cars Dealers that receive inundated units until Dec.r 31, 2024.

Help to children, families
Civic organization World Vision has made initial relief response to the Bicol region to assist those affected by STS Kristine.
World Vision’s prepositioned goods, such as non-food items and hygiene kits, have been dispatched to the Bicol region to help the affected children and their families as these are some of the identified needs.
