ALLEGRO Beverage Corp. is banking on the growth of the coffee industry in pushing its premium coffee equipment and coffee consumables in the country.

Yasmin Vasquez, Allegro chief executive officer, told reporters on the sidelines of the opening of the company’s new headquarters in Mandaluyong City on Monday the growing coffee culture has been driving demand for coffee equipment and coffee consumables like beans and syrups.

The demand is not just from traditional clients like hotels and restaurants as well startup coffee shops, she said.

Vasquez said the company has stores in Cebu, Davao and Pampanga and has dealers in Iloilo, Bohol, Quezon, Laguna and Cavite and soon in Bicol and Pangasinan.

Backed by global brands, Allegro was acquired in 2017 by UCC Holdings Japan, which owns 65 percent of UCC Philippines, a manufacturing and business-to-business company for everything coffee.

Vasquez said this creates a synergy that would make Allegro a full coffee solutions provider.

Allegro offers business packages complete with machine, beans and other consumables for clients.
