City Hatchback dominates segment

Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) said its All-New City Hatchback has become one of the country’s best-selling hatchbacks, occupying 75 percent of the market share with 189 units sold since its launch in April this year.

The model’s introduction paved the way for Honda to expand its renowned City model lineup, as it serves as the brand’s newest offering in the hatchback category.

“We are truly delighted to see the All-New City Hatchback soar in the hatchback segment since its introduction in the country. The positive acceptance of the Filipino market on the model means a lot for us and we would like to reaffirm our promise to continuously serve the country with quality products and excellent customer services” said Masahiko Nakamura, HCPI president.

The All-New City Hatchback’s versatility is one of the many reasons for customers going for this model. With its Ultra Seats (ULTR), it can easily adapt to a wide variety of the owner’s lifestyle and cargo needs. Notable interior features such as the One Push with Smart Entry and Remote Engine Start System, 8-inch Advanced Touchscreen Display Audio with Apple CarPlay Android Auto & WebLink connectivity also add to the comfort, convenience, and ease of access for the customers. Other reasons include the strong equity of the Honda brand, as well as its sporty and stylish exterior RS design.
