Cirtek Holdings Philippines Corp. is ramping up its production of 5G-capable antennas in the US as the US government completes its auction of frequencies.
“As the US auction on mid-band frequency has concluded with winning bidders announced and awarded last February 2021, telcos prepare ahead for much of the work on 5G network designs while spectrum is cleared for commercial use in the succeeding months. Network designs are in the works with expected build to commence 2022 once airwaves become available for 5G usage as they are evacuated by satellite companies,” Cirtek said.
Cirtek said the global 5G base station market is expected to grow a compounded 32 percent between 2020 and 2028 with a market value of $177 billion by 2028, citing the study done in March of this year.
