Century Pacific Food Inc. said profit for the first half of the year reached P2.7 billion, up 21 percent from last year’s P2.23 billion.
Revenues hit P27 billion, up 8 percent from P25 billion, primarily driven by the double-digit growth in the company’s tolling exports business, which was up 29 percent.
“CNPF’s branded revenues were sustained versus last year, registering a 3 percent year-on-year growth, notwithstanding spikes in demand due to strict lockdowns imposed in the first half of 2020,” the company said.
The company said earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization is tracking its topline performance at a 9 percent growth.
