Low-cost carriers Cebu Pacific Inc. and AirAsia Philippines have rolled out promo fares to encourage more travel this year.

In a statement on Thursday, the country’s largest budget carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced another round of seat sales in time for Labor Day.

From May 1 to 5, CEB offered one-way base fares to all domestic destinations starting at P188, excluding fees and surcharges. The travel period for this promo runs from June 1 to October 31.

For international destinations, passengers were given from May 1 to 15 to book flights for as low as P999 one-way base fare, also excluding fees and surcharges, for travel on May 1 to October 31.

With CEB’s extensive network in Manila, Clark, Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao, travelers can enjoy their vacation across a wide range of Philippine destinations. Passengers may also directly fly to various international destinations through CEB’s over two dozen overseas hubs.

Meanwhile, AirAsia Philippines, in celebration of Love Boracay festivities, is offering a P544 one-way base fare to Caticlan until May 4, with travel period from April 7 to Sept. 30, 2025.

Last year, AirAsia flew around 1.3 million guests to Caticlan and Kalibo, cementing its position as one of the market leaders in Aklan province.

More than flights, AirAsia guests can enjoy exclusive perks by presenting their boarding pass at participating partner establishments, including Feliz Hotel, Epic Boracay, Tides Boracay, and The Lind Boracay. These partners are offering promos and discounts of up to 20 percent on food and beverages.

“We remain strongly committed to our partnership with the local government and tourism stakeholders in pushing for initiatives that will be beneficial in ensuring the continued success of the travel and tourism industry,” Ricky Isla, AirAsia Philippines’ chief executive officer, said in a statement on May 1.

Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco for her part said the Department of Tourism looks forward to the ‘Love Boracay’ initiative and is grateful to its partners including AirAsia Philippines for their commitment to the campaign.
