Cebu Pacific, the country’s leading budget carrier, is expanding its domestic network with the launch of direct flights between Cebu and El Nido in the fourth quarter of this year.
Starting October 26, CEB will operate daily flights via Cebgo on this route, the airline said on Wednesday. This new service complements the existing direct flights currently operated by its boutique airline, AirSWIFT.
“El Nido has long been one of the country’s most sought-after destinations, and soon it will be more accessible to those flying from Cebu and nearby provinces. By adding this route ahead of the holiday season, we are not only strengthening inter-island connectivity but also creating more opportunities for every Juan to discover the best of the Philippines,” Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer, said in a statement.
With CEB now flying directly between Cebu and El Nido, travelers from Central Visayas will gain easier access to El Nido’s iconic lagoons, limestone cliffs, and pristine beaches. From Cebu, passengers can also fly directly to other Palawan gateways such as Coron (Busuanga), Port Barton (San Vicente), and Puerto Princesa—making the island province more accessible than ever.
For travelers from El Nido, Cebu offers a rich array of attractions—from heritage sites like Magellan’s Cross and Fort San Pedro to its famous lechon and other culinary delights.
Passengers may use existing travel funds to book flights and avail of add-ons. CEB also offers various payment options, including credit and debit cards, as well as e-wallets.
Currently, CEB operates flights to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
