Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Inc. (CEB) is ramping up its domestic operation starting this month by adding more flights to key hubs, following the continuous easing of travel restrictions.

In a statement, CEB said starting March 27, it is increasing flights between Manila and Boracay up to 16 times, to Bohol up to seven times daily, to Cagayan de Oro up to 10 times daily, to Cebu up to 18 times daily, to Davao 10 times daily, and three times daily for Iloilo.

Apart from these, CEB also resumes its flights this month to other destinations across the country such as Siargao and Surigao via Manila, Calbayog via Cebu, Iloilo and Zamboanga via Davao, and General Santos via Iloilo.

“We are very happy to continuously see positive indicators in the industry, that is why we are also doing what we can to ensure we address the travel demand. Our passengers’ safety and comfort remain our primary concerns and we look forward to flying them to their desired destinations,” said Xander Lao, CEB chief commercial officer.

CEB has urged guests with existing travel funds to use them before they expire, to book flights for travel up to one year ahead.

Passengers with travel fund may book flights before their expiry date by choosing a flight schedule up to one year later. A travel fund is the value of CEB bookings stored in a virtual wallet that can be used to pay for any transaction on the CEB website — be it for flights or add-ons like baggage allowance, travel insurance, preferred seats, meals, etc.
