The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) raised P14.8 billion out of the P15 billion of 91-day, 183-day and 364-day treasury bills up for sale Monday.
The T-Bills fetched an average coupon of 5.71 percent for the three-month tenor, 5.97 percent for the six-month tenor and 6.085 percent for the one-year treasury that were sold at a tranche of P5 billion each.
The auction attracted a total bid of P8.12 billion for the three-month tenor, P12.41 billion for the six-month tenor and P15.24 billion for the one-year tenor.
The BTr fully sold the tranche of the 91-day and 364-day securities while it only accepted P4.8 billion for the 182-day T-Bills. – Ruelle Castro
