The Bureau of Treasury raised P10.6 billion Monday out of a scheduled P15 billion treasury bill (T-bill) auction.
The agency said it partially awarded bids for the 91-, 182-, and 364-day T-bills, the coupon of which were pegged at 4.911 percent, 5.556 percent, and 5.864 percent, respectively.
The auction attracted a total tender of P17.8 billion for a 1.2 times oversubscription, though the 91-day tenor was undersubscribed at just P4.04 billion compared to the offered P5 billion.
The 182-day tenor attracted P6.97 billion while the 364-day tenor attracted P6.8 billion.
National Treasurer Rosalia de Leon said the agency partially awarded “to anchor rates within levels in secondary markets.”
