The Bureau of the Treasury raised P8.8 billion out of the scheduled P15 billion auction of short-termed Treasury-bills (T-bills).
The Treasury said it awarded P3.26 billion of the 91-day T-bills, P2.9 billion of the 182-day T-bills, and P2.64 billion of the 364-day T-billions – all of which was planned to raise much as P5 billion.
The 91-day T-bills fetched 6.029 percent coupon; the 182-day fetched 6.081 percent coupon; and the 364-day fetched 6.166 percent coupon.
The auction was 1.2 times oversubscribed, attracting P18.6 billion in total tenders for the P15 billion offer.
The 91-day T-bills attracted P5.57 billion in bids; the 182-day attracted P6.54 billion in bids; and the 364-day attracted P6.5 billion in bids.
