The Bureau of Treasury fully awarded the P35 billion, 10-year, treasury bond Tuesday.
The bonds fetched a coupon of 6.75 percent, attracting total tenders of P99.31 billion. Coupon bids ranging between 6.5 and 6.8 percent.
National Treasurer Rosalia de Leon said the agency opted for a full award given that rates were lower than the previous auction for a similar 10-year bonds.
“Strong demand kept rates within secondary level even with hawkish statement from Fed and commitment to bring inflation to 2 percent target,” De Leon said.
