Bloomberry Resorts Corp.’s said it is the “winningest integrated resort developer and operator” amid a slew of awards feted on it and its officials as it prepares to open its second facility by the first quarter of next year.
“The company’s chairman and chief executive officer (CEO), Enrique Razon Jr., was recognized for the second year in a row as the sixth Most Influential Person in the 2023 edition of the Asian Gaming Power 50– a ranking of the 50 most influential and prominent Asian gaming industry leaders and executives by Inside Asian Gaming. Thomas Arasi, Bloomberry president and chief operating officer, ranked 37th, an improvement from 38th in the previous year,” the company said.
Inside Asian Gaming is a leading gaming and entertainment media brand that has also recognized Bloomberry’s Solaire Resort Entertainment City under the Best Regional Asia-Pacific Integrated Resort (IR) and Best Gaming Floor categories in its annual IR Academy Awards.
“The same awards program heralded Mr. Razon as Outstanding CEO over his Macau-based counterparts,” Bloomberry said.
Bloomberry won three awards from FinanceAsia’s Best Managed Companies Poll 2023 with Razon recognized as one of the country’s Best CEOs (bronze) Estella Tuason-Occeña, Bloomberry chief finance officer (CFO) and treasurer, recognized in the Best CFO category (silver).
“Meanwhile, Bloomberry, as a listed company, received the gold medal in the Philippines’ Best Mid-cap category. The winners of this benchmark poll is based on nominations by Asia’s savvy community of investors and financial analysts. Bloomberry was (also) dubbed Casino Operator of the Year for the second year in a row in the 2023 iteration of the Global Gaming Awards Asia by Gambling Insider, a leading global gaming media platform,” the company said.
The Global Gaming Awards recognize the strongest performers over the last 12 months under various categories across the Asia-Pacific region. The awardees are selected by a panel of 30 senior executives from the APAC gaming industry.
In the 2023 Asia’s Outstanding Companies Poll by Asiamoney, Bloomberry was recognized as the Overall Most Outstanding Company in the Philippines as well as Most Outstanding Company in the Philippines — for both Small/Mid cap and Casinos & Gaming categories.
“This is the second time Bloomberry has been recognized in the same three categories simultaneously. The poll is designed to acknowledge listed companies that have excelled in areas such as financial performance, management team excellence, IR activities and CSR initiatives,” the company said.

Bloomberry is in the mid of developing its second Philippine facility – Solaire Resort North – in Vertis North Quezon City, with an eye to have it open by the first quarter of next year.
Morgan Stanley Asia Ltd. however expects the opening to happen in the second quarter.
Solaire Resort North will rise on a 15,676-square-meter lot in Vertis North, Quezon City.
The facility will feature a hotel tower with up to 550 rooms and a gaming area with up to 200 gaming tables and as many as 3,000 slot machines, as shared by the company.
