Bloomberry Resorts Corp. reported a loss of P4.2 billion last year, an improvement over the P8.3 billion loss in 2020, as revenue grew 24 percent to P22 billion from P17.8 billion the prior year.
Bloomberry has a limited operation in its Solaire Resort and Casino in the country and its Jeju Sun in Korea.
Gross gaming revenue (GGR) at Solaire rose 22 percent to P27.6 billion from P22.6 billion in 2020. VIP GGR was at P6.7 billion, down 16 percent.
Mass tables and electronic gaming machine GGR were at P11.3 billion and P9.5 billion, up 54 percent and 32 percent, respectively.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) surged 265 percent to P5.2 billion from P1.4 billion the previous year
