Belle profit hits P2.43B, sales reach P5.89B

Gaming firm Belle Corp. said it closed 2024 with a profit of P2.43 billion, up by 0.41 percent from the prior year’s P2.42 billion.

Revenues grew by 5 percent at P5.89 billion from P5.6 billion.

The company — whose business include leasing lotto equipment to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and leasing its integrated gaming facility in the Manila Bay Entertainment City to Melco Resort’s City of Dreams — told regulators on Monday it posted a recurring net income of P2.44 billion, up by 7 percent from P2.28 billion previously.

“In 2024, the Belle Group remained profitable due to the resilience of our businesses, strategic focus and healthy balance sheet. Relying on our tried and tested business models, we worked with our management teams, employees and business partners to provide the finer things in life to our loyal patrons and customers,” said Armin Raquel Santos, Belle chief executive officer.

Of its topline, Belle reported a 21 percent growth in lease income at P2.42 billion from P2 billion in 2023. Equipment rent, meanwhile, was down by 11.97 percent to P527.48 million from P599.22 million.

Belle said its share of gaming revenue from City of Dreams Manila amounted to P2.29 billion, lower by 2.14 percent from P2.34 billion the prior year.

The gaming-related business comprises 89.66 percent of the company’s topline.
