Prime Asset Ventures Inc. through its subsidiary, PAVI Green Renewable Energy Inc., said its 20 megawatts (MW) solar power plant in Orion, Bataan will be operational within the month.
The company said the project is expected to generate enough energy to power up to 5,000 households.
TJ Mendoza, PAVI head of infrastructure and projects, said the plant is part of the company’s energy investment plan to provide affordable and sustainable renewable energy to households across the country.
Other projects in the pipeline include a 20-year power supply agreement for a 40.4 MW solar farm in Naga, Bicol which will provide power to a minimum of 15,000 households once fully operational and a 7 MW solar rooftop system in Tanauan City, Batangas which when fully operational will offset carbon emissions by 9,811 tons of carbon dioxide. – Jed Macapagal
