Balai ni Fruitas  nets P59M 

Balai ni Fruitas Inc. recorded profit of P59 million last year, up 58 percent from P37 million the prior year.

Revenues grew 57 percent to P535 million from P341 million.

The company said all its brands, led by Balai Pandesal, registered significant same -store sales growth for the year.

Balai Pandesal stores increased sales by gaining more repeat transactions among customers in the communities where they are located, the company said.

It added Balai Pandesa introduced several new baked goods in its menu and widened the curated selection of third-party goods in its stores.

Buko ni Fruitas and Fruitas House of Desserts benefited from increased foot traffic in malls and food courts.

Balai said it opened 20 more stores last year, to close 2023 with 118.

Earnings before interest tax depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) hit P109 million, up 59 percent from P68 million. EBITDA margin is at 20.3 percent, up from 20 percent the prior year.
